I use coriolis.io a lot for my ship buildout planning. I use engineered + experimental effects on modules so I can optimize my build. There's one hitch, some ships that aren't made for traveling have size exclusive core module sizes, and since pinned blueprints don't allow experimental effects, it's kinda hard to get the effect quickly
I have an idea that fixes the struggle of jumping 100 FLIPPING TIMES just to get an experimental effect on a module. It would be an internal compartment that holds core modules for transport. They will not be able to activate in storage, so you can't stack power plant power gen. Sizes 2-8 would be available, because they would only be able to fit 1 size under the the holder's size itself, so a size 8 holder would be able to fit up to a size 7 module. Of course mass would count. You could also stack modules in there, like for a size 7 holder, you could have a size 4 module and a size 2 module. The mass would add up though.
Tell me what you think! I really think this should be a module available.
