New Isinona Video ! Thief

Isinona's content is simply some of the best Elite generates. You get immediately sucked into the story, and the flying is like ballet. Saw this vid yesterday and bookmarked it.

What impresses me most with Isinona's videos is that they seem so 'real', a story of a real Commander in the Elite Dangerous Universe attempting to scratch a living from bounty hunting, mining, pirating and anything else that this universe provides. It's about the tough grind of existence, using the barest of means, for a hardened pilot who, being very skilled at flying, still makes mistakes and poor judgements and admits to them. The videos present a story without fanfare of an Elite Dangerous Commander, one of the millions out there doing their business of living.

Just like you and me.

i just opened the link, hit the like and then play
then realised he is in an adder - damn why can't like twice?

I was about to post a comment about the Adder :)

The last ship I would expect to use for piracy .... and he does it so well, again demonstrating that you can have fun in any ship if you handle it right ;)

you would not expect the the mini-FDL to be used in piracy? why not?
i had mine modded just for that, but badly suck at piloting it. with 3.0 i will give it another try, modding some equip for that task (with weapon power that is)

i always thought that this must be a good pirate ship, since FDEV is seeding most rez with pirate adders asking me for my cargo.

Need to bookmark this one for when people say silent running/stealth/piracy doesn't work In Elite. How awesome was this? Makes me want to run straight to the computer and play this game properly. Alas my wife is shopping for pretty dresses at the moment. [heart]

Oh, usually a lot of people saying this are trying to kill you sneaky-sneaky in a 'stealth' corvette, as if you shouldn't spot them..

Inspiring vid indeed. Given the style he always uses - somehow his videos seem like tutorials to me - I always thought he is a (or more than one) developer.

His videos give the lie to the belief that the Big 3 ships are important to "grind" for to succeed in this game.

but you can't deny the efficiency of a corvette with a class7 hatch breaker and several collector drones in doing the same thing.
the difference is just, that you do not care about the pirates when they hardly scratch your shields :D

Your wife thinks her Commander husband would look good flying in a pretty dress?[big grin]

I'm really pleased with it myself! :D

I have no pb with music videos (I love rinzler's videos), it's just gamers (in Elite or any other game for that matter) who don't know what they are talking about yapping for 5 minutes before actually doing something.

Sounds like a Frontier live stream to me. Although it'd have to be "non gamers" for that to be totally true.

Great skills - amazing. And a really great demonstration that you can enjoy this game in ships little and large.

The fine control of every aspect of the ship; intense module management; situational awareness and of course the sublime control flying FA off.

Jawdropping stuff.

Let's face it: Some (most?) of us are part-time, amateur, armed space-truck drivers.

Isinona is the F1 rocket man in comparison :D
