New Large Ships

Honestly, I've given up on the Panther Clipper but I wish FDev would give the T9 another C8 slot (at least).
I mean, when you're flying a T9 you are, basically, completely defenseless so there should be some payoff for that, compared to flying a Cutter with a squillon MJ of shield.
Thing is, if FDev create a ship that's bigger and tougher than the T9 then, basically, it renders the T9 and the Cutter redundant.
It'd be better if they tried to create totally distinct roles for those ships by making the T9 THE hauler and leaving the Cutter where it is.

The T-9 while a lumbering barge of a ship still has capability to escape interdiction and shields if chosen. The cutter is a status symbol and as you said has a bajillion MW of shields. I'm thinking of a ship so large current shield generators cant protect it and you cant escape interdiction. really crank up the risk-reward factor. terrible handling in SC but comparable handling to the T-10 when in normal space
I want one more real thick and juicy bessy of a ship. Just a stupid ship to fly outside of having a wing mate or without the protective arms of your pledged Power to back up your worthless SLF while the size eleventy FSD breaks the passage of time trying to open a witch space portal.
And...a large exploration focused ship would be intriguing. One that introduces the new SLS (ship launched ship (or scout if you need to be not stupid)). The SLS would be able to land and let you step out, basically behaving like a flying SRV. We could even have this thing launch while your ship is already landed, it pops out the top like a jack in the box.
and, something that just owns laser mining, with visible launch bays for all the limpets and maybe some exaggerated big boy heat radiators utilizing that Titan thermal tech to keep the lasers humming. Again, stupid to fly without some assurance that you will be alone or have some protection.

Hopefully 2025 is the year of the four big ships. New large ships which would include Core Dynamic, Gutamaya, Lakon Spaceways and Faulcon DeLacy. The Federation and Empire need some ship love.
