New launcher: "remember me" for steam account?

Dear FD,

May we have "remember me" for Steam account?

The expectation here is the launcher logged into steam account automatically on next start.

Previous launcher kept me logged in and did not ask me to log in each time.
Currently mouse click on "log in with steam" looks redundant.

What where they thinking when they did this change?

Braindead doesn't come close to defining.

Fine - just 1 mouse click - well it was one that I didn't need with the old launcher.

Wow, ease with the toxicity, pal. Surely it doesn't change your life so much that you have to write comments in such aggressive manner?

The lack of that particular feature made me wonder why they even made a new launcher. Previously it was one superfluous mouse click, now it's two. Well, unless you are using the minimal ED launcher, because that one shows that it is possible to just click "Play game" once and actually end up in the game without extra steps.
