Yes, but the launcher always updated automatically in the past.

For 3.3.02, there was no update. Played for quite a time in 3.3.02 already, i'm taking part at DW2 o7

The previous launcher update was optional, didnt nag, and let you play (even today)
Just loaded it up again, and the download is now mandatory.

I also received the instruction to download a new launcher. I'd previously installed 3.3.0.2 successfully. Maybe this new launcher is a sign of future patches?
