Really, that disappoints you? No wonder this game gets such a hard time, it's a perfectly functional launcher (Apart from the resolution issues) and now even that's not good enough before anyone gets into the game.
I can find disappointment in an element that I feel could be improved, without throwing my teddies out of the pram and shouting about quitting, as a lot of posters seem to manage on this board... Disappointment <> not good enough.
From a developers perspective: There's no point; it serves no real function and is essentially just a waste of a line or two of code. It's what we (my team and I) call: a nice to have feature.
From a users perspective: It would be nice to see offers catered to my status (kickstarter/beta/etc) but doesn't interest me enough to bug me.
