Hardware & Technical New Logitech X56 HOTAS!

I've used the software you have shown but, in the past, those curves were set once for each axis, there was no ability to assign a specific curve to a mode switch.

For an example, I might want to set the throttle curve for landing in one mode, the mode switch is that 3 position switch on the base of the throttle. That curve would allow finer control at the bottom of the range and limit the full range so I don't go too fast in forward or reverse. Then I could switch away from that mode for full range operations.

I stand corrected in that case :)

I've never found it that difficult to just move the trottle lever though...it's quite accurate so not a lot of guess how fast I'm going stuff.

Finally I put my hands on it. First impression is OK. I think it's a bit too big for my hands.
I had small trouble with assignment SLD to FA ON and OFF, after couple of minutes I find out that there is also programming button that u need to push after saving :)

Yes, that's the slider under left thumb. When I move it right FA is OFF and when I move it back FA is ON.

Yesterday I run it to new issue. Namely when I started to drive srv I quickly notice that I do not have full turn of wheels when I move joystic left or right. I assign buttons for that to ensure that Ive right.
When I click on button I get 100% but when I move joystick to the edge I got something about 60-70%
It's something about curves I set to fly more comfortable with FA OFF, when I use small analog controllers where I didn't mess with curves srv behave properly.
I use this one with additional small deadzons on the edge and in the
How exactly it looks I can post when I get back home.

My replacement X56 grey now has a wandering thumbstick. Annoyingly the X56 software doesn't have a configurable deadzone for thumbsticks.

Anyone else had the stick buttons stop working? (Throttle is still fine). They started going dodgy but using the twist (Z Axis) usually reset them. then they stopped completely.

I found the cause:

I obviously use the z Axis too much and the wires snapped at solder :-(

Going to solder together and may even put some glue on it

so all back together and working but will put some glue over the solder joints to give some extra support. (cheap glue gun arrives tomorrow.) also still get a bit of clicking from the z access so will put some grease in there.

on a side note be careful when returning the z access pin to get it between the cables it may squeeze too much otherwise.

I have pedals but Cant use them in ED. I spend to much time in the stuck in the grill with them. They are great for Microsoft Flight sim and feel natural there.
Cuz this stick was broken, i have been using a Thrust master warthog for right hand stick (with no twist) hence the pedals.
