you may, or may not have noticed a few posts i've made on my first ever gaming PC build solely for ED.Well, its all up and running and I was getting 60FPS on an old monitor running low res. I finalised my build with a BENQ 2460HM monitor and after connecting via HDMI and using AMD's Catalyst Control Centre managed to get full screen @ 1920x1080.
Now I expected the FPS to struggle a bit, expecially when in close proximity to a planet, or coriolis but am please to report that I'm still hitting 60FPS. Can this be right???
My setup is as follows
Corsair CX430M PSU
MSI Z97 Gaming 3 MoBo
MSI Radeon R9 270X Graphics Card
8GB Kingston HyperX Fury Ram(2x4GB)
i3-4160 CPU
The graphics are amazing, I just find it hard to believe such a budget setup can run it so well.All settings are on Max or ultra where available.
I just need to learn how to play the game now, and hope I enjoy it as much as I did the original in the 80's!!!
