New Merchandise Idea

As a gamer with a family and a young child, I would like to propose the idea that Frontier release a matching clothing set for Father / Son and Mother / Daughter with Pilot's Federation ranks on them of Elite / Mostly Harmless respectively. I would love to put my son in some Mostly Harmless emblazoned infant clothes.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Splendid idea. My missus loves teddy bears but has a definite disdain for my obsession with all things Elite. A teddy bear wearing an Elite logo would conflict her emotions so much I'd be able to hear the synapses creaking with the strain. When can I order one?

I think that there should be a t-shirt only available to proven Elite commanders (which I am not yet). A badge of office so to speak.

It's more of an indifference than an active dislike. Any actual dislike is reserved for me when I prioritise playing Elite over more important things, where more important things is anything other than playing Elite. It's a sort of self-fulfilling vicious circle of indifference.

She does like SF movies and TV though, so I'll give her a pass on not understanding the appeal of gaming. And she was impressed with the few bits of the Elite: Reclamation audiobook she overheard, so there's hope for her yet. I might be able to persuade her to listen to the books even if she'll never play the game.

And I'd still get an Elite bear if they were available, just for the reaction. Please consider it, FD. :)
