Horizons New metals and minerals, what's "Taaffeite" ? :P

Never seen it in-game before.
Can't find any post or even webpage about it when googling for Taaffeite and elite horizons (where the two are mentioned together, that is...).
It's not a "surface material" like the kind you do synthesis stuff from.
Considering the price, I'll have to assume it's quite rare...

Cool! First the game is teaching me astronomy and now it's teaching me geology. I'd never heard of taaffeite either - or even painite for that matter. It's clear that people with a real love of science put this stuff together, instead of just coming up with some fake materials.

After the list was made, I imagine Sandro randomly throwing materials together and calling them "SRV repair!" and the geologist throwing his/her hands up in despair. :)

I got it from destroying an automated mining extractor on a mineral rich planet.
They usually drop crap like bauxite but sometimes more precious stuff.
I got osmium, palladium and now this weird Toffifee mineral from them as well.

It's just another price inflated mineral because.

It doesn't matter what it is or what it does, because the various commodities still are completely unrelated to each other. One would think that supplying large quantities of metals to an industrial or HT world would let them pick up the production pace, but alas nothing happens.
