New missile damages? Or AI weapon bug still?

Just been watching this clip a few times now of myself outside a station, and something doesn't feel right. I can only assume that two dumbfire missiles hit me ,either class 1 or 2, and took down a whole ring of my 352MJ shields. I might be being a little picky, but I'm pretty sure missiles lost most of there damage on shields. I'm not even accounting the fact that I have two shield boosters that both have engineer resistance augmentations close to 2.5% in blast resistance (Re-rolled until I got the very best) so something about this damage output by the AI feels way off. Can I get some help please?

EDIT 2: Reviewing it closer shows that there might have been some plasma accelerators thrown into the mix, my mistake.

This vultures shields feel a little too strong for my liking, against two class 2 beam gimballed lasers. May have strong shields for its size but weapons by default gain buffs for every size larger than the ship they are attacking. And even its hull against two class 3 gimballed Multicannons. Does anyone agree?

I put a class 2 rack of seekers on my FAS and they've been tearing it up. I think missiles are back in the game...so is Point Defence.
 
I get it missiles are good and I know, and they don't do much shield damage either since I noticed it was a plasma accelerator in the video. I'm concerned now about that vulture I fought, any comments?

Lol, although we all know that the clipper doesn´t have the best shiels still is something impressive, I think that the ship that attacked you it may had some engineer upgrades, remember that that FD removed MOST of the engineer uogrades on the AI so I wouldn´t be surprised if that one had some kind of upgrade

They can still hurt shields plenty, they're just way more effective at hulls. Just killed a deadly cobra mkIV and two seekers took a ring off his shields at a time. Small target, but still decent shield damage for what they are.
