So you've got a couple of class 5 overcharged fixed pulse lasers on your Cobra, but maybe you want to move them to your Orca, but fixed is useless there.
Sure you could just engineer another one, but maybe you got a really good roll on it and want to keep using it?
Maybe we should have an option to convert a fixed weapon to gimbled or turreted (and vice versa)?
Obviously this needs to have a cost association with it. The most fair would be a straight exchange compared to base costs (so going from Turret to Fixed would provide a refund as they can use the expensive tracking software and mechanisms on someone else's ship).
But I figure it should also have some basic mats/commodities involved as well, so that it's not just an easy money upgrade that could be done anywhere (for example, articulation motors for going up to gimbled/turret, and reinforced mounting plate for going to fixed).
