Astronomy / Space New Neptune moon found!

True! But then Neptune is huge. I was just maybe expecting something a little bigger.

But then I guess that's why it wasn't spotted before now.

Apart from Triton (which is an exception in several ways), all of Neptune's moons are pretty small.

Small and beautiful. :)
There's so much left to discover even in our own backyard. Just a pity the door is still locked to us Humans.

I imagine that after this discovery, they will re categorise what a moon is, and since we lost Pluto as a planet its only a matter of time before they say that Neptune has instead of 15 moons it only has 2:D

If we're going to be pedantic (and hey, why not :p) Neptune has no moons. It has many natural satellites, but no moons. Moon is a proper noun that strictly should only ever be applied to The Moon, much like there is only one star called Sun. :D
