But then I guess that's why it wasn't spotted before now.

I imagine that after this discovery, they will re categorise what a moon is, and since we lost Pluto as a planet its only a matter of time before they say that Neptune has instead of 15 moons it only has 2

If we're going to be pedantic (and hey, why not ) Neptune has no moons. It has many natural satellites, but no moons. Moon is a proper noun that strictly should only ever be applied to The Moon, much like there is only one star called Sun.
