New nivdia drivers 391.24

Glad I stuck with 385.xx or whatever oculus recommended as being the last drivers to work.
What an absolute shaa’r.

Heads up, for Rift owners... At the bottom of the linked page (above) is this statement:

While Nvidia claims that these issues have been fixed, Oculus Rift users are still complaining that the blackscreen still appears with the update. For now, it is advised to still stay on 388.59 until further notice. You can check out all the patch notes here.

Thanks for the heads-up. Not that I have VR issues, but I like to keep up-to-date with the drivers. :)

I'm hoping to actually play some E: D today. And if that goes ok, I'm going to take a look at the throttle tomorrow, Mike. :)

I updated to 391.24 for my GTX980ti. I had to manually removal and reinstall since the Gforce Experience way of updating just kept hanging up. Sooo, after that was done, I had to reinstall (repair) the Oculus software as it didn't load at all. Finally loaded E&D and it needed manual screen updating. Which required taking the headset off and clicking the screen (no biggy). Finally started E&D and got the black screen. Made a twisted face and restarted the computer and began again with no issues so far.

Except:

Now after about 2 hours into play, for some reason my Saitek X52 stick wouldn't allow me to pull up or down. Usually I just unplug and plug back in whenever it got stuck going in a direction. This time it didn't work. Closed game, uploaded new February logitech drivers and now it seems to be okay. I'm still watching this issue. Can't play without the hotus.

What exactly are these drivers supposed to fix? I have no problems at all with my rift, 391.01 drivers. I also run Gforce experience - always have done for the shadowplay.
