New Oculus owner with questions.

I order my Rift a few days ago and got it today. I skipped walking the dog and set it up right away.
Everything is is working great except one thing. I see line or jagged edges on curved surfaces. Like the anti-aliasing is turned all the way down. I can't find the settings to make any changes. They seem to have been removed when I setup the Rift.

Any suggestions?
Specs are:
980ti
6700k
16Gb

Curious if Elite found the rift and changed your settings to one of the VR presets. If that's the case, you can still customize the settings by using the mouse cursor and clicking the + sign next to each category.

I am running a pretty similar setup (5930k, 980 (non TI), 32GB) and am using ultra across the board rather than a preset. I do not use super sampling, but a lot of people do and seem to like it.

?? You ordered your rift a few days ago and got it today? Where did u order it from if u dont mind me asking as the oculus store says August dispatch.

Check Amazon. In the US, you can get them in a couple of days.

You are going to pay a premium though.

Fiddle with your AA settings.

I had to adjust them from SMAA to FXAA or something. The jaggies went away, for the most part.

I set it to custom, but I still can't find where to make the changes. I can only change display settings. (res and fps, etc)
I've been using VR High until I can find everything else.

I got it form Best Buy, normal price. Shipping took about 3 days.

I can't find those setting. I'll check again.

Update

I changed the setting to run on my monitor without the rift and I now have access to the missing settings.
I guess you only use preset when using the rift?

All the graphical settings are available regardless of where you are viewing them (monitor or HMD) however some are context aware (whether you are using a monitor, HMD or 3D glasses).

As others have said - the ED graphics settings menu is still available. Setting the resolution only changes the 2D monitor window though, not the Rift.

Remember the Rift CV1 won't be as clear as your normal 2D monitor.
The Rift's resolution is 2160x1200 - so both eyes are being shown 1080x1200. That's a fair bit lower than a regular 1080p monitor (1920x1080). The Rift resolution and frame-rate can't be changed.

Be prepared for the lower resolution - its not as crisp, nor are the colours as good.

But the tracking, the freedom to look about, the sense of depth, the feeling of presence in the cokpit/driver's seat/world. Can't be beaten.

I fix it!
It turns the user was an idiot and didn't press Y to expand the menu. :)
I blame the Engineers.

Thanks for the help everyone.
