New Oculus User

Well, I was very kindly given a rift...

I have got it set up on the PC, and it works, I ran the intro in the setup process, and have gone into the ISS app from Oculus. The PC is high enough spec apart from the graphics which is a bit below spec (GTX 960), I'm told that when I am in the Oculus app, but the ISS thing runs fine and looks good.

Problem at the moment is that when I start ED, I see the frontier logo in a white room, and get a message that EliteDangerous.exe is taking a long time to load (although it is loading), and this message then changes to Path to ED64.exe is taking a long time to load, switch to the monitor to troubleshoot. But ED has loaded, and is running... Nothing on the rift.

I've set the graphics settings in ED to VR Low, and I'm launching ED direct from the launcher, not using steam or anything. Anyone got any thoughts?

Have you made sure that the 3D setting is put to a HMD with speakers or headphones?
