Ship Builds & Load Outs New owner of iCutter: Cutter vs Anaconda (combat or trade)

Hello guys.

I am (finally!) a happy owner of an iCutter, after a looooooooooooong Imperial Rep Grind.
I just A-modded it a bit and took her for a ride. I have to say that she handles better than my good old 'Conda, although my 'Conda is a bit heavy loaded and thus the comparasion might not be a fair one.

I will modd one ship for Combat and the other for trading.

My question is: as far as Cutter vs Anaconda goes, which one is better suited for Combat and which one is better suited for Trading.

For trading, the Anaconda has lower cargo space but it is compensated by the higher jump range.
The Cutter does have almost a 50% higher cargo space but less jumping range.

As for combat, from what I've read, they are pretty much similar as far as damage goes (with a slight advantage for the Anaconda?) but the Cutter has better shielding and higher max speed.
How about handling? My Anaconda feels...heavier, with the caveat that it is kinda heavy atm.

Any ideas suggestions from more experienced players?

Thanks for the help,

Cmdr Bio-Flame

cutter beats conda for trading by far, especially modded with a good jumprange. if you don't fly ~ 350 ly traderoutes (which doesn't make sense).

for pve combat, both ship have no problem to keep up with any CZ/RES situation.

so - if you want to mod one for combat, and one for trade, take the cutter for trade, and the conda for comat.

but actually my advice would be, to make the conda an exploration/longrange trader, and the cutter a bulktrader, and outfit a FDL or FAS for the money bulkheads of a battle conda will cost you.
