New Paintjobs for Fleet Carriers

New paintjobs, expecially the the most beautiful ones like "chromed", "stygian", "Void Black", etc are urgently needed after 3 years of FC's exitence and would be very welcomed in game IMHO.
A ship paintjob is rarely seen. But FC ones are seen by anyone who use that carrier. If paintjobs do have a sense in game well that would be espcecially true for FC which are one's true flagship. It would allow more personalization and a bit more elegance than the very standard's ones currently avalaible.
So let me ask a very spontaneous (and maybe naive) question: is there a reason why Fleet Carrier's paintjob have never been offered beside those already avaliable at day one? Maybe technical reasons? What do fellow cmdrs think? Anyone from frontier could answer this?

Perhaps because each cmdr might have a desire to buy only one FC paint job, vs many for their fleet of ships.

But then you could make the argument about weapon colors. I only bought 1 weapon color. But if color could be assigned by weapon I would buy them all. I think that would be quite popular. They have had 10 years for this low hanging fruit.

I seem to remember one time they sold weapon & thruster color in a bundle for a single color, that's why I got cyan for both.

But for some reason, the no longer sell them in bundles anymore. :(

Something is clearly not working for them. It's already a smaller market (not everyone has a FC), they must expect more than skins to shift for them to make it worthwhile. Also possible that by their metrics they didn't see any arx sales move when that happened, only a drop in stored arx. I know I bought all my FC stuff on saved arx. They must know, they are the ones not making any new FC cosmetics. It must have been years since the last one now.

I suspect they are profitable, i don't think it takes that much work per paintjob for each FC and they do recoup the money many times over. I suspect its more just a matter of priorities.

Well, yeah. It's a smaller market. Not everyone owns FCs. People can only own one FC as opposed to multiple ships. It's clearly not a great direction for their efforts.

Makes you wonder what they were thinking when they were going to limit it to an even smaller base.

Well...🤔...I know it's not relating to the exact subject in the topic but reading through this post prompted me to look in on the Frontier Store. Or more specifically the Carrier paint jobs. I believe I've bought one paint job for my Carrier about the same time as when I bought the Carrier, the paint job is the 07 one as I thought most of the others were rather dull looking, at least I thought so at the time. So yes, I think the Carrier paint jobs could do with some more interesting / attractive and as you put it, 'elegant' designs. :)
But!...looking also at Carrier detailing led me to think of Carrier 'ship kits'. Well, there aren't any as such, okay you've initially got a choice of 4? basic Carrier shapes, so I 'spose you might see that as a 'kit' bundled with that Carrier 🤷‍♂️...anyhow to get to the point, where's the 'Explorer Survey Pack for Carriers!?...I would have thought this would be a prime 'kit' for the Carrier beings that a fair proportion of players go out exploring in one.
I'd certainly buy one if it was available for around 16800 Arx (which is the going price for that kit at the moment).
Yeah, I agree, some more attractive paint jobs for Carriers would be nice, plus some small to large kit's of varying prices that you can use to tart up the outside of your carriers superstructure. (The Survey kit being in the top tier with these 'addons' kits getting progressively cheaper for correspondingly smaller size cosmetics).
The 'Explorer' theme, it seems strange that this seems to be overlooked by Frontier for the Carrier, but why stop there?...Factioned themed cosmetics, maybe even some forms of kit, Pirate themed kits and colours..etc..etc.

I have 3 carriers, each with it's own custom type, paintjob and atc voice.
So i happily paid for those, but nothing new came since launch.

Maybe more interior types? More paintjobs but with less stripes would be nice too, but the current prices are not encouraging me to spend money on them cosmetics.
The only things i have purchased since price increased was the Stellar T-8 and Stellar Mandalay

I've just got the one Carrier, but I'm a bit confused here...and while we're on the subject generally speaking...
How many Carriers can you have?...and what are the criteria in this respect?
I'm presuming you can only have one Carrier operational at one time in the game?
