New Paintjobs sort of for legacy

There are a couple of Halloween type paint jobs for the python, asp x, anaconda and cobra very minimilstic malevolent horror for 4500 basically a pumpkin smile either lime green or pumpkin orange but the ships are grey . Have a look in store.
Just a FYI as I am always complaining we don't get anything .

We Don't get anything of value.A paintjob nothing compared to what we have been left out of.

To be truthful I was surprised about the paintjob as we know there is no work being done apart from critical fixes. But that's the first I've seen in 2 years ish.

Why ?? We both know and it's been the same for 2 years now in legacy . I was never happy with consolegate as my posts will attest.
But we did get "new" Paintjobs for 4 ships so to me that points to at least some sort of work being done ? It's not ideal but at least it's something .
There is still plenty of other stuff to do and at least on Xbox it's still busy.

You aren't getting anything worthwhile......ever, that's the entire point of it being legacy and supported only by bug fixing. I am also surprised you got the point jobs, you aren't getting anything else!

There's no reason to be surprised by this. There are two versions of the game, but only one Arx store shared between them. This is nothing new.

You can buy the Mandalay if you want, but you won't be able to use it in Legacy. That's why they state some items require the 4.0 client.

I know the complainers don't care. This reply is aimed at newer console players, who may be confused by the regular equine bashing.

There is no option to buy any of the ships on legacy as it's blanked out . Which is fine because as you say we couldn't use it

I agree. I don't understand the aggression from the Console Community, this game had about 2 years before the Azimuth Saga storyline picked back up, where the game was dead. Everyone kept playing then.

We do loads of BGS work on Console(which PP2 on PC has seriously hampered for PC Cmdr's) and I see Systems near the Noobula with over 100 ships passing through.

Shinrarta still gets around 275 ships a day passing through too.

The upset was caused by how it was done. Many xboxers called no EDO for consoles well before the official line was eventually given.
There was no real reason to continue with last gen ( which we all knew wasn't going going to handle EDO) and I feel it was a ln easy "oh so sorry ", get out excuse. I would be happy to buy the improvements they did manage ( space flying no walking around )
Then there is the stuff thats already in legacy no design or programming . Paintjobs CG even Christmas arx.
But nope all we got was an increase in price for arx and decrease in arx.
The game unfortunately is the best spacey game on Xbox at least . Others do parts better but as an overall game Elite does it best .
Not really bad for a game that's I've been playing for 8 years on Xbox.
At the end of the day the anger and frustration was due to Fdev attitude and communication? The trust that was built up for years was broken and that always brings out the worst hurt .
Me I stopped regularly playing for 2 years ?? But I came crawling back, I'm still sore about it but have accepted that Fdev is a business and the players dont count only the money. I'm glad the game is still going and I'm glad I can still play and yes on Xbox it's still busy with a lot of hollow squares around .
