Isn't an colossal fail, you are a bit overreacting really. It's just something they forgot to mention. Just make a ticket to support they might do something about it.
It's true, the ones that lost missions (me included) didn't lost any credits after all. But we lost some value game time going there and stacking missions up. Maybe for you isn't so important or maybe you have lots of time to play at your disposal, but some don't and maybe it was a bigger deal as you think of it. I thought maybe missions will disappear but I haven't found anywhere to confirm it. Not saying it such a big deal imo but for some if something can be done for the time lost and the hopes of the profit any reimbursement might come in handy
After all, everybody have different expectations in this kind of mess ups right? Just saying...

Yup, I think that is the best thing to do before a big update, I will keep that in mind
