New Patch ruins economic balance + refunds go crazy

Someone wanted to see a Grizzly in my Zoo but I have no Grizzly in the Zoo. I had Grizzlys in the Past. Maybe this can happen if a Animal is in the Trade Center and still assigned to the Zoo
Yep, it is confirmed that it can, and does happen. If you remove an animal but it's still in your trade center your visitors can still get the desire to see it. To solve it you need to move the animal to a different zoo. You can move it back to the trade center from that other zoo if you want, at that point it will be associated with the other zoo rather than your main one.

Never noticed that one before but excellent tip !

I guess my refunds are because I'm freezing the tails of my visitors. I am no longer heating the paths. and it's an average of -5 degrees on a normal snowy day. And these guests are hardily wearing any clothes.

ROFL, yah...I opened a Tundra zoo for the first time the other day and was laughing at how the guests don't dress any differently than my other zoos and all are shivering and hugging themselves to keep warm. Idiots!

I assume it will be great for coffee sales once I get that researched though. It's too bad there is no souvenir shop that sells jackets and sweaters though.

For me this doesn't work at all. If I move the animal to a different zoo or even sell it, the guests STILL want to see the animal...

You sure about that? Visitors still in your zoo won't change what is on their list of want-to-see animals, so are you sure that's not what you've seen?
Brand new visitors shouldn't generate the desire for an animal no longer present.

Regarding feeding costs, @meimento, I've started moving parents out of the enclosures after babies are born and just store them in the market for animals that are expensive to feed (like elephants and lions). It's saved me a ton on feed costs.. Unlike what some folks have reported, my animals in the market are not costing me for feeding. It just takes the game a bit to update the feed costs showing after I move them out of the habitat.

That is a good workaround, but that is not how the game should work.
You should be able to have at least one parent couple and one litter of cups.

I guess i will prolong my break until next year.

Good to luck to all of you who keep on zooing.

Totally agree.
With the refund issue fixed, I've stopped doing that as well. It was saving me enough money to compensate for stupid refund costs but I don't need that savings anymore with the fix.

My challenge zoo still displays animals not in my zoo yet. But they are in my trade centre as most appealing animals. I havent built a habitat yet but orangutans are my most appealing animal.
