Newcomer / Intro New Pilot in need of some help

Hi

I pre ordered this a while ago, downloaded it yesterday, loaded it up, and had some fun with combat training section. I then loaded it up today, from which it could not connect to the server, but saw i had the option to download the singleplayer in the launcher. Only trouble is, the launcher now seems to only launch the sinleplayer version? is this on purpose, or by downloading this i have some how alterated the launcher. Sine i was under the impression i could use the launcher to switch between the main game and sinleplayer, but have no option.

Thanks in advance, just want to make sure im all set to go when ED goes live.

the main game will be available to pre-orders sometime after midday UK time tomorrow, once you have it downloaded the bottom bar of the launcher will look like this:

you will notice you have the option of starting the single player combat build, or the main game. once in the main game itself you can access the flight tutorials for docking, launching, travel etc. as well as the three play modes (single player, open play or private group)

Is that screenshot taken from your launcher currently? since did have both those options earlier today until i downloaded the singleplayer demo, from which the launcher doesn't give me the option to launch the main game. Im guessing if thats the case its related to what you just mentioned about the mid day release and will become available tommorrow to see? since i currently have lost that option altogether atm.

Yes, it's a current screenshot of the launcher and yes midday today you will be able to play the full game.

i took the screenshot in order to answer your post ;) I started playing way back in the beta so have access to the current gamma build, that's the only difference.

Just double check you aren't seeing a LOGIN button.
If you haven't logged in you'll only see a PLAY button.
Once logged in, the two options (game or training) appear.

Doh! thank you! yeah all is in check! kinda missed the Log In button to the right, all set to rock and roll! Thanks again Andy. Yeah that was my problem NQS. Im blind :D
