New pirate wing experience

I was cruising in a Federation system and decided to stop at a USS for fun. To my surprise, the place contained several canisters of gold.
Delighted, I went about to pick them up when suddenly a bunch of pirates, that either left this as a trap or decided the treasure is theirs for other reasons, started attacking me.

The bunch included 2 Cobra, one Sidewinder, one Eagle and an Anaconda. It took me a few seconds to get back to my senses, and then I engaged one of the Cobras. After destroying it I decided that the best strategy is to fight them from weak to strong, to reduce the number of directions I'm getting fired on.

After destroying the Sidewinder, some Feds showed up and started helping me.

I went on fighting the rest, and concluded with the Anaconda.

All in all, 5 minutes -> 220K credits bounty.

Very cool. I pulled a Wanted sidewinder out of supercruise the other day (Tanmark bounty hunting). About 20-30 seconds in, the rest of his wing jumped into the instance. Another 20 to 30 seconds later a few fed security vipers jumped in. Strangely though the baddie wingmates, though their weapons were deployed, did not engage me. I guess because they didn't want to get a wanted tag on them since I'm clean. Maybe the presence of the cops in the area made them behave. Once I dispatched my initial Wanted target, the rest of them turned tail and fled.
