New Planetary mission type - Assault troops transport

Today, sit on the toilet bowl and an idea just came out. Tried google it on web, cause I don't think I am the only one came out with this idea.
And I found this, which suggested years ago.
Quite similar with mine, but here are my suggestions.

Reason:
1. We have "Dropship" which can't transport personnels, yet.
All right, 3 brothers of Federal Ship, FAS, FGS and FDS. AFAIK, FAS is good for "space dog fight"; FGS can equip SFL hangar, and tons of hardpoints make it a "small carrier" (only hold 1 SLF through); but...FDS? Ability of carry troops might be a point. This apply to Alliance 3Cs or even Diamondback/ASP Scout as well.

2. For now, we lack gameplay on planetary surface.
3.3 update right at the corner, which mean we have new exploration and mining, this is great. But, when was the last time add new type of Surface mission, other than harder - Wing mission?
Most surface mission like salvage, data point scanning, destroying generator are SRV required (yeah I know SRV is not compulsory to destroy Power Generator), and ships want to do their part as well.

3. Add walking NPC.
Some time we just need some walking NPC in station tower, on landing pad after landed, transfering cargos, fueling or repairing ships. They are not neccesary to interactable with, just doing their things will do, to show us there are living people in this universe other than portraits at mission board, more immersion.
And I will explain this later.

4. Temporary Landing
New type of landing which does not turn engine off when landed, in case of any emergency happen.

So, what exactly is "Assault troops transport" ?

Similar to passenger mission, but instead of sending personnels to station, we transport those marines to surface settlement owned by enemy faction, and launch an assault.
We accept mission at station's mission board like other, but we require to equip economy cabin or new cabin type which hold much more personnels than normal passenger cabin, customized for landing assault.
Then, we can see them moving across landing pad, and boarding ship (skippable if unpatient CMDR[smile]).
Head to the target settlement, might encounter interdiction when supercruise, depend on the mission difficulty (rank).
When approaching settlement, it's security and type decide the power of defence, we might encounter defence turret or even enemy ship trying to stop us from landing. That's when Wing member come in. Wingman may try to destroy turrets or power generator to terminate its function for a certain time, or fight with enemy faction's defence ships. When it's clear, Dropship land still in planned landing area for a certain of time (counter appear), wait for marine to disembark (which we can actually see marine NPCs leaving our ship and find settlemnent's door, breach it, enter. Not just some number on screen).
And? We go back to station and collect our reward or huge amount of Rep and Inf boost.

And variant? How about vehicle (like tanks for example) transport?

Question:
This is just a simple idea, and I believe FD staffs may came out like...few years ago already. Animated or moving NPCs? With experience making "Jurrasic World Evolution", I believe those are not big problems for FD. Maybe FD staffs just choose not to do, instead of didn't come out with these ideas.

Could have infiltrations too for smaller or more stealthy ships..

Good idea... Get the troop ship to blow the doors open sort of thing...
 
The Dropship seems like the Gunship before the release of SLF at the moment, everybody knows what it should do but the gameplay is not there yet. This could be combined with the ability to drop SRVs in flight.

Or get destroyed with all in there, and be the shame of the station responsable for killing x marines...to make it a real choice making thing.
Then again this would be a military thing, and we do not have a real military career plan ingame..a shame really.
I sure hope planetary gameplay becomes a thing soon, there is so much we could do on moons.
