New player - need some help

I got a mission from the board to bring tea to Freeport station in LB-98 332, I am landed on the station, now what?

I can't sell the cargo or do anything with it.

Also for some reason I'm having trouble getting into the hanger when I land, the button does nothing. The when I go to take off I'm already up on the landing platform but the launch button does nothing.
If I save and come back in my ship is floating around inside the walls of the station where I can't leave without taking damage or destroying my ship.

Go to bulletin board. Your mission should be on top. Click to give cargo.

Make sure your in the correct station for your mission.

I get the button problem also. Are you using head tracking like track IR? If so disable it by pressing F9 then you menu will center and work normally. Enable before take off by pressing F9 again.

hmm, its not on the bulletin board.

I left the station and came back, still not there.

I noticed before that the mission showed up in my transactions on the map panel, but when I saved the game and went back in now its not there any more.

I still have the cargo and can't get rid of it, something is screwed up how do I just start a new game?

I have had the same problem a few times in the past day or so. Heck, one station I had a mission to did not even have a bulletin board at all! saved and left, came back the next morning and now I have a fine. Ugh, BETA.

Disappearing missions is a known bug. It usually happens after a disconnect. I ticked it earlier and got a reply that the devs are aware of it and working on it. The only way I know of to get rid of the cargo is to self-destruct.

Well, probably the you didnt make to the station in time. Every mission has a clock, if you fail to deliver the goods, not only you cant finish the mission, but also the cargo is considered "stolen" from now on, which means you cant sell it on commodity market and that you will be fined by authorities every time they scan you. Your option is to go to "contacts" in station and sell those on the black market, or simply jettison them into space.

I also get the hangar bug, it usually is fixed when you disrupt your internet connection for few seconds. Weird, but it works .
