Hello fellow commanders,

I need some advice. I have achieved 100% Rank in the federation, but I still do not have the mission to promote. I am "None" and no federation controlled outpost/starport has the promotion mission. Is it due to my reputation only be 1%? Please help, I have tried/researched for hours.

I think you might be getting rank and reputation confused? Reputation effects availability of missions. Improving reputation with a superpower means that your reputation with aligned minor factions will increase faster. Rank increases through completing missions as well as trading and handing in bounties, combat bonds and exploration data at starports controlled by an aligned minor faction. When your current rank reaches 100% you should start to see promotion missions appear on the bulletin board.

Yeah thats what I thought, I have been 100% for 4 hours so far, and not a single promotion mission. Will they say Promotion Mission in the title? What system has them? I have been back and forth fro Groombridge 1618 and Nanomam for hours.

They should appear at any starport with a Federation-aligned minor faction present. Can't remember exactly how they appear on the board, something like "naval accession opportunity", but they are obvious when you see them.

When I went for promotion to SERF in the Empire navy just recently, the Navy rank missions were not attainable until I reached a Cordial status with the factions that have the symbol next to their name (symbol being either the Federation's galaxy, Empire's Bird, or Alliance's Pyramid)

I have seen Naval Federation missions. I have no idea when or how they trigger and the rank displayed has yet to match the email notification of the promotion. That part of the game is pretty frustrating for me. Just seems random. Mission opportunities don't seem to make much difference with regard to REP and INF. I have 100% REP and high INF in Carener and LHS 3885 and I still get scraps for the most part as far as missions.

It doesn't bother me per se, but that part of the game seems broke as well. Makes doing missions way less appealing.

I had exact same problem when I was rank 0 and hit 100% but couldn't find the missions. I logged out the game and back in and a mission was there at my usual station (whose controlling minor faction was fed). If you've hit 100% and not yet re-logged, I'd suggest doing that then heading to a station with a Federation controlling minor faction.

Right now it will just contain "Federal navy" somewhere in title. Eg: "Kill Contract for Federal Navy". Or "Courier Needed for Federal Navy", or "Federal Navy Transport mission" etc... Seeing mission with something like that gives you promotion in Rank. But to be promoted you need to have 100% of Rank Bar (Do not mistake with Influence or Loyalty Bars).
