Recent events would hint so.

Just to be correct, Zac is new head of Community Management (and i agree - it has been great week regarding that, many new community features like Meet the Team etc). Head of PR is still Michael Gapper.

Not sure how much is his influence and how much was already in the works but I have to agree that he's doing a marvellous job. Meet the team, community news and site updates and a ton of other stuff including more dev forum posts... :D:D

More dev forum posts - that's the best bit. Players of a game like this need to feel connected to the development team. The reaction to this change seems to be overwhelmingly positive.

Yes, Zac has been great, but we probably shouldn't neglect the other people though who's workload have now been spread out making things like this possible. ;)

Zac gets my vote too... now if can just explain when all those features discussed in the DDA will arrive ;)

Yep, there's been a noticeable improvement over the last few weeks. I suspect it's because before there was no such role as community manager and people like Sandro were asked to chime in on the forums when they had time to spare. FD has realized that they need someone whose job is to do just that, and we're seeing the results. The fact that Zac seems to be so good at it is just icing on the cake :)
