New products in the Elite store!

Any info on the quality of those t shirts? I still have a couple of printed T's that have lasted 20 years, but most modern ones seem to be made of cloth so thin that they are in constant danger of ripping off if you go outdoors when it's windy...

The quality seems to be pretty good... Fabric is reasonable and the transfer has a good amount of transferiness... Trouble is usage always seems to ruin things and washing (especially black items) is even worse sometimes :(

I'd say they were similar in quality to some of the £20 or so T-Shirts you get from M&S.....

*Caveat Emptor of course... my opinions are mine alone!

Good to hear - even if it is only an opinion. :)

The shorts are not sufficiently airtight to be used as part of an emergency space suit after a cockpit breach. FD really dropped the ball there. ;);)

Just ordered one then realised the Backers pack I subscribed too has a mug and T with it... anyone know which design ships with that or have I possibly just duplicated my Elite wardrobe? :)

Ahhh! I checked before posting but figured it might be relevant and answer other backers who were thinking the same:

"DRM-free collector's premium boxed edition of "Elite: Dangerous". Includes a T shirt with "I backed Elite: Dangerous" on the back, an A3 Star Map and a paperback copy of the official sequel to "The Dark Wheel"."

:D

Wow. Only just spotted this thread. Bought a couple of the T-Shirts. I hope they will have some other bits and pieces like mouse mats etc.

It is true that a mouse pad with a Cobra MKIII flying between a planet and a space station would be very pleasant. The problem with the people outside the united kingdom, is the cost of international delivery.

its nice to see they are selling the mug for a tenner, but i'm still waiting for the one i paid £20 for nearly a year ago - this is quite frankly getting beyond a joke

It might be there soon.. my mug just arrived this past week, and I believe it was £30, I have a terrible friend who is the devil on my shoulder. Alas, I have already enjoyed a coffee from it, while reading the latest edge article on ED.. I feel like such a nerd.

Hopefuly you get yours soon.

Why doesn't anyone ever make women's tank tops? I hate wearing men's t-shirts...

Agreed, though I wont mind wearing the tshirt at home as I doubt I would ever wear it out. ED is like a guilty pleasure to me and that tshirt is dorky as all hell :)

However, an obscure symbol or other reference only fans would recognize on a singlet top, I would so wear that out.

He did say it held more than a pint. I have no problem with that design.

I forgot that I'd previously seen that on here. I'd love one of those. Any idea where he got it and if there is more available

Thats the only thing that stopping me from buying one right now. I dont want to spend money on a t-shirt and have it disintegrate after just one wash.

Don't wash it then :)

Hopefully they will also sell an elite dangerous oculus rift as well or an elite keyboard where the windows keys are replaced with the elite logo and the space bar says fire etc I would like a large elite decal to put on the bonnet of my car ( a bit like the pontiac firebird) !

I have no idea. Someone from FD would be the best to ask.

I quite like the slightly obscure referenced clothing rather than a big logo. I tend to wear big logo tees under a shirt (like a vest) and only ever get them when I'm given them for whatever reason. I have countless company tee-shirts from corporate events, all of which are used for painting or as vests.

I do like the idea of something more subtle and obtuse, so for example a polo shirt with a Cowell & MgRath logo ("A Faulcon deLacey Company") just over the left breast, small like the Ralph Loren sized polo pony. Maybe the same but with the Empire/Alliance/Federal logo, no text.

Agreed. I wouldn't wear a gaming t-shirt out the house in all honesty - however be more tempted with something that wasn't so 'in your face'.

I would so buy pirate bobble-head though :D
