Newcomer / Intro New PS4 Commander

Hi everyone, just purchased a PS4 version which will be arriving next week (I'm so excited)

I have played Elite before, about 30+ years ago back on my old C64 and my mates BBC Micro.

Remember both of these old systems had different play styles. The C64 auto docking use to take ages to dock and you had to watch it twisting, turning and speeding up and down while listening to "Blue Danube Waltz", where as on the BBC you pressed Auto Dock and you where in Space Station.

Nice to find a forum and expect many posts from and old guy who probably find the new version slightly more complex to what I am used to !!!!

There are plenty of the more "mature" players on these fora and yes the game has a lot for you to learn, there are so many facets, but it is worth persevering, it is great.
