I'm probably blind or something, but I can't find the thread about the rear goods contest.

I will post my proposal here and hope that it get merged into the right thread by a friendly mod. :)

rare good: Purer Water
The best, purest water in the galaxy. Refreshing, clean, pure. Sourced from the pristine ice rings in Wolf 406, carefully processed to keep the pureness of the water. So pure it cleans your soul. A luxury for those who have all.

location: Wolf 406
Event:
Export samples of "Purer Water" to different systems in the galaxy. System has to be 100 ly away from source - it's a rare good after all. Samples can't be sold/delivered at the same station more than once every 24h (per player).
The number of systems that receive samples are important, not the total amount of goods exported.


Disclaimer:
The name "Purer Water" isn't my idea, it's the idea of a nice CMDR that took part in the CG at Wolf 406 (can't find the thread and I've forgotten the name of the CMDR).
The idea of a pure water rare good surfaced in a thread about the Wolf 406 CG event. I guess it was inevitable to happen and the idea of a pure water rare good was simply obvious.

I didn't notice that Monday bit. In the newsletter they wrote: "Between July 10 and July 19 we're opening the doors for submissions on our forums."
Does that mean they open the doors for submissions sometime between July 10. and 19. or that the doors for submissions are open between July 10. and July 19.?

Anyway, there is no need for a competition as it's perfectly clear that they need to use "Purer Water" ;)

and after that they wrote: "Keep an eye on the forums this Monday for full details on how to leave your mark on the Elite: Dangerous galaxy with a Rare Good of your very own." :)

Actually, the description text is:
"The springs of Wolf 406 have inspired the inventiveness of it's inhabitants for centuries. The legendary Wolf 406 water purifiers are used to produce Purer Water (tm) - an ethereal essence, an ideal of purest water, refreshing, clean and suitable for all kinds of medical applications. Furthermore it can be used as a healthy ingredient for baby food."

This is from the official marketing manual of Wolf 406 Transport & Co., as approved by Victoria Wolf VI., First Merchantress of Wolf 406 Transport & Co.. See this press release regarding the lift of the Wolf 406 Water Purifier export ban:
