new release?

Hi to everybody from good old Germany, close to the Dutch border. My Name is Marcus and I am wondering about the following situation: No shop in my hometown seems to be able to sell PCoaster. I don't understand why. Usually they do this, when there is new release coming soon. Is this true? Do you have Information for me? Is PCoaster Steam the latest release?

I believe a real disc is only available through Frontier Store, but you will always need Steam to install the game.

So I'd advice buying it through Steam.

The disc version is still available in Dutch stores like Intertoys and I assume it was sent to some German retailers as well. However, the boxed version is very poorly designed (white text on top of busy artwork that is light blue for the most part) and made of flimsy plastic. It feels like low budget shovelware that really doesn't do the game justice, so I can imagine that they only printed one batch which ran out in some places. The disk contains an old version anyway, you'll need Steam to get the latest version.
