I'm not a time rich player and as such not an in game rich player either so things like this affect players like me but I'm glad they have gone up in some respects. Last night I left a fight with 1% hull remaining on my maxed out Diamondback Scout, aside from the fact I was shot lots while on 1% waiting to jump but didn't die (odd), I had to pay 100,000 in repairs which is much less than the 600k insurance so I think its a fair cost (roughly 1% repair charge given my Scout is worth about 9 mil) but I was shocked when I saw the bill. But I have had to mothball my Asp which I've only just managed to save up for and buy in the last week, 20% repairs cost me 45k last night! That's a lot for such minor damage for a player like me. Had I not left when I did the repairs would have been big! It makes the Asp to expensive for me to risk right now.
On the plus side for players like me I do like picking fights with wanted CMDRs in much bigger, better ships. I usually have no chance in my Cobra or Scout but that's the fun, this puts a different spin in it now as I can do some damage and they may change how they play as their are financial consequences.
