New Routing (good!) and landing pad issues (not so good but funny)?

Has anyone had this?

So the first thing I noticed is that starting this afternoon routes are planned differently depending on the direction you go.

Before it was Sys1 - Sys2 - Sys 3 and Sys 3 - Sys 2 - Sys 1. Now it's Sys 3 - Sys 4 - Sys 1. All same loadout of course.

Second thing:

Sometimes landing pads act funny. Once I was forced to land in the opposite direction, that is, facing the entrance. Sure enough the elevator didn't move when I took off, so this is ok.
Another time I was assigned pad 12, but the locational radar (the one with your ship hovering above the target designator) told me I were somewhere else completely. The circular radar pointed exactly to Pad 12, which was also what the clearance told me. It just wasn't the correct one. Could not land and had to abort.

Did / does anyone else have these issues?

Can you explain what you mean re the first point?

You choose whether you want fuel economy or fastest route and click destination. Not had any issues with the route it takes using either methed?

Never use the mini scanner for docking, just head for the pad with number I am designated but if you record what's happening you can report it if it's wrong. (Or show us here)

Yes, it does appear that some of the old landing bugs are back. I have had to dock facing the station exit, I.e backwards. I have also had to dock without the assist.

Unfortunately I don't have a recorder running and it doesn't happen all the time.

About the route planning: of course the settings are always identical, as well as the loadout and the cargo. It's just that on a route one direction is via a different system than the other direction. Reproducable. Rather strange, that is - but fun.

I have had that but I thought it was due to ship mass versus jump distance.

I.E. on the route out you may find a jump where you have full fuel and cargo isn't possible (It is outside your ce tcurrent jump range). On the way back because you have less fuel at a different points the jump range changes as you travel. Therefore because the jumps between different systems varies the route can be different in the opposite direction.

It's expected behaviour rather than a bug IMO.

You can also make less jumps on routes where you do not need a full tank by not refuelling to 100%. Watch out for the % of fuel limit though.

Well, I wouldn't see this as a bug either - I just thought it to be interesting (and a nice feature).

The landing pad issues however definitely are a bug. I wonder if I should ticket them, but as I said, I got no recorder running...

I've had to dock with no assist either before. Hasn't happened for a while though. The pad didn't light up, which was kind of normal being a known bug, so i used my compass to find the pad. I went to land but my scanner wouldn't change. I though i was at the wrong pad, double check + the lack of pad loitering assured me i was at the correct pad. After a bit of wobbling left and right i finally got docked. The dock assist just never came up.
