New save - no ship?

I started a new save with Odyssey.

I don't seem to have, or can't seem to get to, a sidewinder. I'm totally lost in the starter station.....

Did you try talking to the ship seller? You might have to get them to assign a docking bay / bring it out of storage so you can access through the elevator?

It's a feature of Odyssey new start.
No ship and only by foots. You can use APEX for travelling initially.

Which one planet does a ship on sale?

If you talk to any ship seller and do (or skip) the old horizons tutorial you will find your Sidewinder in the dock.

Oh, the ship dealer gave me no option to buy/manage ships, until I did the beginner flight tutorial.

well, i found out to have own ship at other docks, all you need is travel with APEX from starter station!
