New self destruct sequence

Just tried the new self destruct but was not able to deactivate it. Anyone tried this and managed to deactivate it within the 30 second window. Could not get back into ships computer to turn it off. Have I missed something?

Was there ever a deactivation button? I only self destructed once but I didn't think there was a way to revert it.

If just wanting to "see" the self destruct sequence..maybe you should have tried YouTube instead...

True I could of looked at YouTube but I thought you could now deactivate it now it's on a timer. Maybe not. Will keep looking. I'm in a cobra so haven't tried it in a sidewinder.

No, I think they have just added a "sequence of Doom (DOOM!)" to the self-destruct. So don't use it (unless you want to explode).

-Self destruct now has a timer, during which your ship will overheat violently and have no power

You mean activating the self destruct could actually destroy your ship!?

Broken promises, slap in the face, refund, chargeback, etc.

I was really surprised you couldn't cancel it. Not that I could see a use for it very often but would be cool to have the function there!
