Horizons New settlements Rumors...

New settlements and player owed or built bases...Hmmm Xavier Henry creating new concept art... All I hope is that as nice as it will more than likely be please Please PLEASE..make it look weathered dont make it look brand new dust free and all shiny, as far as immersion is concerned I strongly feel that it's broken ingame when you land on any plant base that entrances aand panels walls etc all look all too shiny and new esp: as airless and rocky moons and are all covered in dust. We kick up dust (well a little more required) when landing same goes for the SRV (more required) so why cant we see weathered bases.

Hopefully with the upcoming 2.4 fixes and "QOL" improvements this will be on the list somewhere near the top as immersion is still very lacking in game, in my own opinion...
This also accounts for the lack of detail to al crashed ships found (scarcly) on planets they look rushed and not broken up or deris field scattered of many km's just a ship dumped on the surface with some blotches of rocks around them, not very thought invoked.
Compared to SC level of details with Elite seems to be a forgotton factor this past year or so, Frontier please see QOL and details back into the game this covers many levels including the all to familiar beige colour planet issue, as much as it may be hard to figure out or indeed do, as well as all the above are just a few of the details what is needed to bring Elite back to the top and more importantly ahead of other game developers that seem to be creating this level of detail without any issues, (SC, NMS) ???

Seems I hear this fairly often but I don't get it. What would I do with my own base?
Or am I not thinking "big picture" here?
I can think of some other things I would like to see Dev time spent on.

O solo mio
Like escape pod rescue missions? Mission packs? NPC avatars? etc, etc,... stuff that would actually enhance gameplay.
I don't get the "I need a home" thing at all.
Or space legs either for that matter.
But that's just me.

Xintar, the thing is if you don't want a home, or space legs, the way elite is set up you don't have to use them in much the same way as you can ignore powerplay and cqc[yesnod]

My own base, to grow. Hell Yeah. Supplying all kinds of goods to grow or keep it alive. hire cmdr's to secure the space around it(hope they don't grief it then :))
