Been away from Elite for a while, and see there was a little update recently. Anyone have any idea if they might release a new ship or two before the big 2020 update?

From what I understand, no big changes/additions are coming until the 2020 update. The patches until then will be more just that, patches (Or Tweaks/minor function changes/updates)
However, who knows whats on the cards, it could be anything from...
1. Completed, just waiting for the right time to release (Maybe to appease discontent in the community to pull people back in)
2. Completed, but being heldback to the big 2020 release (To give additional reasons to part with your hard earned funds)
3. As mentioned above, community goal rewards (Even if its a one off).
4. Perhaps being considered for the store (Although im sure they said they would not do this).
In short, who knows, but I wouldnt hold your breath.
