New Snake Species

This one just now hit me a new Snake Species I’m not sure 🤔 what pack it would be used for but how about the Coral Snake that would be a good one.

Definitely would like some more snake species, even though Exhibit animals aren't really a big playing point for me (though they do bring in the cash in the early years of a zoo!) My biggest want would be the King Cobra, I honestly am surprised it didn't make the base game cut. But black or green mambas, Coral snakes, cottonmouths, all really good ideas. We have six snakes total which isn't a low number, but I'm open to more.

Nah. The in-game snakes are:

- Boa constrictor.
- Yellow anaconda.
- Diamondback rattlesnake.
- Eastern brown snake.
- Common death adder.
- Puff adder.

This roster hasn't changed since launch.

In terms of what snakes I'd like added;

- Emerald tree boa is a big one for me.
- African rock python.
- Western hognose snake.
- Scarlet kingsnake.
- Indian cobra.
- Taiwanese beauty snake.

I've seen all of those in zoos outside of NZ (we aren't allowed any snakes in New Zealand at all, not even in zoos) so I'd really like to see them in-game as well.

Well it can't be helped, your country has too many snake foods (native birds, ground bats, etc)

Yeah I've always been on the fence about that law. On the one hand I am all about protective measures to protect our native fauna (honestly, I'd even support a measure to restrict the breeding of domestic cats if it came down to it, they're the worst offenders), but to me it's one thing not to trust the general public (the pet trade) but it's another thing entirely to stop zoos from displaying certain species. After all, zoos have to be inspected here regularly to make sure their containment facilities are up to par - I don't see why we aren't allowed to keep snakes in zoos here when we can keep, for example, exotic birds, which have a far higher rate of escape and pose a more direct risk through competition to our native birds.
