New Sound Candy

Love the sound of gasping for air.
Love the sound of the cockpit shield cracking.
Love the nuanced sound differences between the engines of each ship.
Love the shreaks and whines of the new alien ships.
Love the sounds of a capital ship entering a CZ.

Being an "auditory" person I have been enjoying the sound nuances in the game. As such... I have some suggestions.

Additional sound candy to add.....

(added to my suggestions of 6 months ago)

1. Sounds of space dust and rocks hitting my hull. Whilst in a planetary ring, especially whilst doing something like mining, there should be constant sounds of dust and debris hitting the hull... especially if I engage in a lot of movement. Sounds that would be similar would include road ash and salt pinging off of my undercarriage while driving in the winter. The sound of a storm throwing material against my window during a stormy night. Some of the louder banging sounds should probably get me to jump out of my seat. I can see the small debris when I enter a ring, but I don't feel it in the rumble or hear it contacting my hull.

2. Sounds generated because I have hull damage or internal module damage. Damaged items should make a whole lot more noise for auditory feedback and will increase immersion. For example, I understand why a damaged SRV doesn't drive crooked or handle differently when damaged... that would require complex code to model it... but there should be audible sounds to differentiate a damaged SRV. Think of all of the sounds you hear if you were to drive a poorly maintained 1983 Yugo or something. Creeks, wobble sounds, engine noise, muffler putters, etc. Ship the same way. We have cracks and snaps with heat damage.. how about more sounds when the hull gets down to 50%? Damaged modules could have a grind-creak to them when operating, like a damaged Advanced Discovery Scanner shouldn't have the smooth sounding wind-up and honk. Lets get some raspy grind up and distorted honk?

3. From what I understand now the bottom right panel shows "Wanted/Speeding/illicit cargo/etc". Is it possible to tie each to an individual alarm?

For example, I had a buddy in the 80's that was driving an old Chevy Impala. It had this dial that looked a bit like a clock that the driver would set to a speed, say 55 mph. If his speed exceeded the setting it made a buzzing noise so the driver would know audibly that he exceeded the set speed. Can we do this when exceeding speed limits around stations?

How about a horn of some kind if we enter a system and have illegal cargo? Perhaps a dashboard light if we are wanted in a system?

I do see that some people complain that "the station destroyed me for no reason" and I imagine that quite often they are "wanted" and don't realize it. Perhaps an audible sound matching a dash light would clue a guy in that there is a problem.

Perhaps even "Warning, ship scan detected and YOU ARE WANTED IN THIS SYSTEM"
