New SRV Model- No more rock and roll!

With the new sentinels and general terrain navigation, the current SRV although capable has One major drawback, It is unreliably unstable. one hit you topple, clip a small rock you topple, move on the wrong angle of a hill you topple.

quite often in fighting these things (wont give away anything more than the name as it is a spoiler ;) ) I get blasted and next thing I am upside down rocking back and forth to get back on my wheels, meanwhile getting roasted.

I am not making a massive suggestion, but can we have a slower platform with much higher stability. something along the lines of widespread tread with a low profile.

like this;

[edit] (and of course pictures won't load on this site will they.........)

Yes just a toy, but it's profile is perfect! low and ultra stable.

the reason for tread instead of wheels is that tread allows for easy contour of terrain whilst also providing leniency for side impacts in combat.

consequently it would be slower than the scarab, but I would really love to sacrifice speed if it meant not driving upside down at several stages of my trip....

Thoughts?

I like it. Basically it's a fully combat version of the scarab. I would also like to see more SRV's. Maybe an exploration SRV that hovers and is fast but has poor armor and weak weapons. If planetary mining becomes a thing we need a mining SRV with mining tools and larger Cargo capacity. Fingers crossed we will see at least one new SRV this year.

Brilliant idea. When it comes to pricing the current model should stay as it is and the specialised SRVs should cost more, maybe around 20-50k?
Also, maybe specialised SRVs could be slightly customisable? Like refinery, power plant and powerpoints.

The whole SRV needs either a revamp or new SRV with bigger cargo bays 2 is simply not enough, I also agree the SRV is very unstable and skittish to drive.
