The new selection screen of Elite Dangerous in Steam today seems odd, why are Frontier seperating SteamVR from the other?

Is it for different settings in Standard Monitor Mode?

Dunno, but it meant I had to re-download the game.

What? Hasn't changed for me, except the "play Elite Horizon: is no longer there....it's just play ED. Weird.

They merged Elite Dangerous and Horizons into the one package on steam, so Horizons is now done as a season pass for Elite Dangerous. Should be less confusing for new players and for future seasons.

Also, valve are fixing up all the tagging for VR so that it's clear which games support which device. Also cleaning up ones tagged with VR support that either don't actually have it or haven't been updated for release runtime versions.
