Horizons New (SUV) driver!

There was me, thinking I do one of this 'ere SUV missions (have NEVER done this, since bought Horizons yonks ago!) So I parked my Python, found my way into the settlement to waste the generator, got out and - where's my Python! There's no mark or anything on the map - ummm...help!

Look down (default key 3) and recall ship


Edit ... also, you have to be a good distance out of the settlement to receive your ship .... I think it is about 2 km, so drive away from it first. When you look down to recall, it should tell you how far you have to go.

Yup. The ship auto-dusts off if you're more than 3km away (I think, not sure on the exact number)

The game is a bit opaque at times. For example, if you dock at a ground base and get out on your SRV, you have to "request docking" with the base from within your SRV to be able to get back in to your ship.
