New T-10 Paint Job - What kind of quality is this ?

Is it trendy to have an asymmetric paint these days (like the Chieftain) ? Is it intentionally asymmetric, or a mistake?

Nice color scheme, not sure I like the asymmetric idea on this ship, but then .....

looking closely at the paint ..... it's peeling off already, (or was applied by someone with a shaky hand !) :eek:

Hopefully its intentional, maybe people got tired of their paint being symmetrical?? SYMMETRY STEINMAN

Not sure about the quality of the 'straight' lines though

It is indeed meant to be asymmetric, as all squadron paintjobs are. They're going for a sort of Star Wars Alliance rag-tag look with these, so the shaky lines are reasonable as well.

I think the "shakey lines" are more to give it either (a) an old wear and tear look or (b) a rush diy job at the hangar - both you might expect in a Star Wars rebels faction context. If we were talking a proper new fully recovered and organised republic the lines might be crisper and more precise.

I think it’s the millennium falcon look. That had patches of vague colours here and there. But, I like this paint.

There's a fix for paint in general coming in Chapter 1 of Beyond.

As others have said, all the squadron paintjobs have that aesthetic - I've always thought it was intentional, as it looks really nice when combined with paintwear and ship kits and the classic ship nameplates. If you want that whole grimy worn look, it really works.

Yes, although I have a chrome T-10 and a white T-10, I think I will get this paint job. I like the two-colors which work well together ..... still needs a gold spoiler though :p

I like them. Squadron is cool. Surprised to see another one, actually. Thought they abandoned the style...
