New Tech Broker Modules

We've had tech brokers for ages, but their stock hasn't really increased. I figure, why not add some new stuff? It couldn't be engineered, but could be good on its own merits!

Missile Pods:
Size: Class 1 and 2
Fixed Only.
Fire Rate: Semi Automatic. As fast as you can pull the trigger.
Damage: 25
Damage Type: Explosive

Chain Pulse Laser
Size: 1, 2, and 3
Fixed and Gimballed
Fire Rate: Increasing. Starts at a low fire rate, and gradually increases indefinitely. If WEP capacitor is depleted while firing, it will catastrophically fail, take module damage, and jam temporarily.

Heavy Point Defense
Size 1 and 2
Turreted only.
Shoots at all nearby enemies simultaneously. Only does a small amount of damage to any one of them, but against multiple enemies can do significant amounts of damage.
Has way more ammo than you'd ever expect to use, but actually uses it up in less than one CZ.

Plasma frags!
Fun idea! You'd want them to be different in behavior from frags and shards, somehow...

Maybe...a roadhog-like approach? It shoots a standard PA shot, and after a certain distance, it splits into a frag spread? That way it's a challenging, high-skill high-reward type of weapon.
 
Torpedo with laser targeting
  • requires to actively highlight its target (otherwise flies straight)
  • detonates on hit/collision to the target or other objects
  • It has significant amount of fuel (1-2 minutes)
  • relatively slow speed
  • can be targeted from close distance and destroyed (having hull strength like SLF)
  • launched with 1-2 seconds delay after trigger
  • is not affected by ECM
  • can be re-targeted to another ship (including allied one)
