New to DK2

Hey

Just got a DK2 and have tried a few experienced from Oculus Share.

It works greate when using direct to rift. Extended doesent work at all, just show the backgroudn of my desktop on the right eye and the left is black.

However scense Elite works with direct to rift this isent the issue here,

The issue is that the resolution are suuuuuuper blurry! Not like low resolution as when I play Vox Machine, its have a great flow but is low res, no problem with that.

But Elite and the GE Subsea experience have the same problem, its all like not super responsive, and much more blurry then just low resolution.

Can anyone help me with this?

Usually you must get Extended to work, Direct with my Tv/Monitor it picks up the Hz of the Tv/Monitor 60Hz which is below what the rift requires 75Hz and this gives very poor quality.

Elite doesn't work Direct to Rift or not well I should say. In extended when you boot your computer up you should have a constant blue light on your rift. Now go in to the config and you should see your camera light up blue and the config file should pull the information. Use the demo to make sure you are working there, set your IPD then follow this thread. Hope that helps you.

In your video cards display settings did you change the rift to portrait ?

At least for the text and ship HUD, changing the color to green will help a lot with legibility. Lots of posts on the main forum for how to do that (it's quite simple). Also try installing SweetFX. Some people report better detail. I have it installed and am ambivalent about it but others swear by it.
