New to Game, Looking for a Wingman

I've been following this for quite sometime, and have finally dropped the money to get into the Beta. I've been playing for a few hours, with really no idea what I'm doing. I've completed all but 2 of the singleplayer missions. However, am wanting to get into the multiplayer side of things.

I know groups and the such for communication is not out at this time, but was wondering if anybody needed a wingman, perhaps could show me the ropes of how things work online? Got jumped by 2 pirates while cruising to a nearby asteroid field, and escaped with only 10% of my hull left. So repairing my ship is going to cost more then what I already have. Not a good start, but im not worried about it too much. Just want to enjoy this with someone, or a group of people. Hit me up in this thread, as I'll be watching it :)

24 hours a day - all time zones - there are visitors coming in and then leaving and going to sleep - only to see others coming online to replace those who have left.. never a dull moment - since many of us are alpha testers with lots of info to share..

Hi, me and my friends are Uk and we also have some US and Aussie, were a small bunch though and we are just getting into space sims etc so were all learning together.

Im 40 btw and we range from mid 20s to mid 40s and justy want to hang out and have fun whilst throwing a few beers back, then join us.
