I learned to fight in a Vulture and it was a lot of fun. Take the advice above about low-medium resource extraction sites. Join in with the cops when they are attacking a wanted ship, but be prepared to run away! Learn to target your enemy's modules.

When all the excitement dies down and you don't have an enemy chasing you, take time to enjoy the view!

So either I'm missiong something, or I have no idea what that 4th other game you mentioned is?

It is probably best described as a Tech Demo as it remains in alpha... Although there are some of its acolytes who'd attempt to con you into thinking it is an actual game...
