In the exploration subforum, maximum jump distance is usually (well, often) described as "on fumes", i.e. arriving with an empty tank. One reason behind that is that a lot of long distance ships have large tanks, which, in many builds, are replaced with smaller tanks, just to get the plotter to use the larger available distance (the plotter always assumes all tanks filled). The other - well, if you want to get those extra couple of ly, you'll need to arrive with an empty tank.
Those builds are more like theoretical excercises, nothing I would actually build and fly - on the other hand, not less practical than the 80+ ly Anaconda builds.
