I am in the section where you read that the wind is our voice. I have tried jumping on both left and right sides but can not get out

If you open the map, it will tell you the name of the location.

You need to use your wind power on the small fan on top of the shrine, after this your gust ability will be more powerful and you will be able to get back out of the cave.
