Hi guys,
I just got a new 4k tv, primarily for use with my PC. It is a Samsun NU8000, which can do either 4k/ 60 HZ, 1080p / 120 or 1440p / 120Hz (among other options). It also does HDR.
At the moment, I have been able to get 4k from my HDMI port, but no HDR, or HDR at 1080 p from the display port of my GTX 1080. If I turn on HDR in 4k, the screen just goes black.
I have a fairly old powered HDMI cable (and a Display port to HDMI converter)... do you think this could be the culprit? Both my tv and pc should be able to do 4k HDR.
Thanks
